Saturday, Nov. 24, 1888 Mercury at 50° this P.M. & quite as calm & pleasant. Our folks busy as ever at usual duties, & think all as well. Clara & Karrie spend part P.M. & took supper at Grandpa's, with a number of little girls, think a class of Mrs Wedgwood's. Quite as well self tho't & with usual chores did some extra sweeping A.M. but while at dinner lost consciousness, partly & went to chamber with El-'s help. Sunday 25 48° this P.M. Weather remains much same. All about same with our folks, & spending Sabbath much as usual, only Ellery was at church in eve also, as well as morn, & also at a meeting in P.M. Clara & Karrie at s-school with Papa of course. After good nights rest rather better self, & at rest & reading most of day, having commnc'd "Honored in the Breach" in Lippincotts, for March.
