Jan 25th/89 Sunday, Pleasant still & mer 42° P.M. Much same with our folks & at usual duties as ever. Wearried and Clara spending most P.M. in chamber with me, & which I could enjoy for change. De Elle Du Bois with Mrs. L.G. [Daylon?] in awhile P.M. calling in [illegible] - also, Estelle Pratt with me awhile a.m. which helpd time pass more rapidly, of course Jan 26th/89 Sat - mer 26° P.M. cloudy & windy. Our folks as well, busy of course, & [illegible] with girls down town short time P.M. she having teeth replaced at last [shot?] self as well but spent day alone & quite nervous P.M. going to sleep not coming [illegible] awake again. Jan 27th/89 Sunday, weather much same tho mer only 10° + 23° P.M. & ene [illegible] at home with children as usual. After good night's rest quite as well self & spending day as usual.
