Jan. 31st/89 Thursday. More pleasant again, but only about 20° + P.M. Much as usual still with our folks & at usual duties, think [illegible] took dinner at Mr. [illegible]. church, much same self & with reading, trying Miller knitting with usual chores etc. Feb 1st/89 Friday. Very pleasant & mer at 36° P.M. All appear as well with our folks except some colds of course & all busy as ever, tho [illegible] at "Art [illegible]" at Beemans hall. As well self busy with usual chores A.M. & spending part P.M. with De Elle Du Bois, where met Mrs. Dayton Feb 2nd/89 Saturday. Much same with out folks & of course quite as busy with many duties. No one in but Grandpa guess. Busy with chores self & extra sweeping A.M. & after short rest P.M. was out to spend an hour with "Mr. and Mrs. E.G. Robbins," another with Mrs. Buntly & children, enjoyed much.
