Feb 3d/89 Sunday. Some cooler, & cloudy with snowflakes. Our folks all about same and Ed at church both morn & eve & a school as usual. As well self spending day at rest with reading as usual. Feb 4th/89 Monday. [Wind?] as cold & blustering with some snow during day. All as well with our folks think & spending day much as usual. [Thot?] self as well & spending day at home much same, but while reading last of eve in chamber, had "convulsion." Feb 5th/89 Tuesday. Pleasant but windy & coldest yet mer 8° morn & only 3° + P.M. All moving on much same with others & after good nights rest [thot?] self better again, but gave up visit with Mary Stone [thot?] I have & last at A.M. had some kind "sick spell" with great pressure to head & face, & on bed most P.M.
