Jan 4th/89 Friday About as pleasant, & quite as mild, Mercury 44° P.M. & at 38° after sunset. about as well & all moving on much as usual with our folks at home. Ellery of course at place of business most of day. Taking his supper at [illegible] at to P. church Mrs. L Clark & Ella McNaul with children in to sit awhile with her P.M. Hardly as well self with no extra strength & some nervous & with usual chore taking it easy in chamber.
