Jan 7th/89 Monday Mercury 36° P.M. Misty morn. & somewhat so most A.M. cloudy P.M. About as usual with our folks think, on hand in good [illegible] & Ellery off for store earlier hat of late, & taking dinner with him, school beginning winter tern today. Little girls out for a reide with "Grandpa" to mill this P.M. I rested well, but still no extra strength & rather "nervous," for me, taking it easy with some reading, & some looking over & making lists.
