Jan 12th/89 Saturday. mer 16°+ this morn, only 27°+ P.M. After light snow during night cloudy thro' day with light breeze. About as well with our folks & at usual duties certain, know Ed was extra busy with agencies & home to dinner with others, but late to supper. Clara & [illegible] out in snow to play some of course, know Ed had for chicken killed at dress morn. Rather better stuff, but doing nothing extra, was over at Mrs Braytons to sit awhile P.M.
