Addresses. Feb. 8th/89 Friday. Cloudy with some snow in air this a.m. Mercury 17° + this morn. but only rose to 24° P.M. much same with our folks think & spending day much the same, tho' have no extra strength, quite as well self, & spending day in chamber much as usual. Feb. 9th/89 Saturday. More pleasant, & tho' only 12° + in morn up to 27° + P.M. all about as well with our folks think, & busy as usual certain, tho' guess [leh?] was out a errand A.M. still have no extra strength self. but ironed my few pieces this A.M. with usual chores &c. Feb. 10th/89 Sunday Clouded over, with snow falling by spells during day. Mer. 29°+ P.M/ All passing much as usual with our folks, but El only out to service & S school, A.M. much same self, & of course at rest & reading most of time.
