sun shining most of time February 16 Sunday Cooler tho mer 9°+ at 8 a.c. AM only rose to 22°+ & 18°+ at sunset wind coming from NW made it seem cooler, but I attended at church (ME) with Geo & Rose, Ellery had callers on business so [illegible] he didn't go to church, but went for union meeting in one, I ws in with Mrs Howe, [illegible] being out also, but home early February 17 Pleasant day, little colder in morn but mer rose to 24°+ & stood 20°+ at sunset, & less wind, I spent day much as usual at little jobs repairing, helped Lena some to begin braided rug in AM, in PM I went down to May [illegible] of errand guess not at home, E & J at union meeting at ME church in eve.
