Ellery at home after drill in eve February 28 Friday Cloudy & Breezy in morning. but mer up to 19*+ at 7 1/2 o.c. & rose 42 in PM standing 38°+ at sunset being warmest this [illegible] for out short the day, sun shining thro' light clouds most of day. [illegible] proved the mild heater for [illegible] chamber work more and tough, with Lena's help & she swept there Harry and [illegible] took most of next [illegible] in AM to dust & put to rights again [illegible] over to see Rose in P.M. then cold bad
