20th Dr &Este & Ells Clark called. March 19 Wednesday Still pleasant: Mer 8°+ at 7 o.c. again, but 28°+ at noon & rising to 35°+ in PM, standing 30°+ at 6 o.c. PM, quite windy in AM, but went down in PM & clouded over but was quite mild when Rose & I went up to see Mrs. [illegible] Pratt for an hour or more in last of PM found her some better having "been to table today first in more for 3 weeks." I spent 1st hour of eve alone, Lena back from errand 8 1/2 o.c. March 20 Cloudy most of day, tho' sun shining thro' once in a while, but little wind, Mer 25°+ at 7 o.c. & 38°+ at noon, rose to 40°+ in PM, all well with us, I kept busy at odd jobs till middle PM with being in at Mrs. Howe's & Rose's awhile in AM, went with Geo- & Rose to B- M- Society, They with Edith-, Jessie-, and Lizzie all spending rest of eve with me (E- not there until after 9 o.c.) playing "noted
