April 2 Wednesday Unpleasant & cold, Mer 32°+ at 7 o.c. but only 24°+ at noon & stood 22 at 7 o.c. PM, with sprinkles of snow throughout day, Lena washed but couldn't hang out the clothes, I spent AM here & there, over to see Rose awhile in AM & in to Mrs. Howes of errand, in PM, at jobs repairing. While at supper I had faint spell, first for a week & a half, & not losing consciousness much. April 3 Clear & bright, but strong wing from N.W. Mer only 16°+ at 7 o.c. AM & 26°+ at noon, what little snow there was left disappeared & going being quite good, Rose & I started out to see Mrs. Pratt once more found her feeling better & we stopped to tea. Ellery & Geo there of course & spent eve, Lizzie, Edith, & "Jim" There in eve also. home quite late in eve after a "good time"
