April 28 Monday Pleasant once more tho' quite windy, not quite as cool as yesterday, Lena up & on hand in good season to clean my room, so we had every thing out, & bedding out to air soon as could after breakfast & she had the room cleaned (also the closet) in AM & we swept & cleaned out the "Little room" in PM, Estelle in of an errand & May Stewart in to bring books & took more reading. April 29 Sun shining, but strong NW wind made it seem cold & Mer only rose to 63°+ I helped Lena get things out of both front rooms, carrying most of books, pictures & fancy articles up stairs, not going to put room to nights again till can have them whitewashed, at least. about 3 o.c. I started with Rose for Mrs Pratts where spent PM & was with same company at night but
