May 10 Saturday Weather remains about same. Mer up little above 80°+ in P.M. Of course some extra work to do in kitchen, so helped Lena some, cut pieplant for pie first of season for us, also apples for sauce & kept busy here & there, at work awhile on curtains for my room, Lena was out most of eve, I went to see Rose & Ellery home early & there awhile. May 11 Mer 86°+ at most. Still cloudy, but not looking likely to rain till last of P.M. Then none fell till few chores in eve, we were late up this morning & neither E- or self got out to church. I tho't to go with Geo- & Rose in eve but having been very warm (Mer above 80 all P.M. till 6 o,c,) day, I was feeling rather weak & Ellery stayed at home with me.
