with me, & stopped awhile.) May 20 Tuesday Bright & pleasant again, tho' much cooler, Mer only 56+ at 7 o,c, A.M. & only rose to 70+ during day. Find Lena isn't feeling very smart, having pain in side, lately, but she did small washing, having all out of way & cleaned up before noon. I did little jobs in kitchen, besides usual chores (feeling better this cooler morn) & over to see Rose, she with me up to see Mrs. Pratt in P.M. E- & G- there for tea, & Geo stayed with us inn eve. May 21 Weather remains about same & all plodding along as usual with us, guess I spent most of day at home taking it easy, finding little jobs to keep me busy most of time, as usual. Lena out to their church in eve, & I went in to shop awhile with Mrs. Howe. They had all been to a wedding this P.M. & the bride & groom, Mr & Mrs Offer, came to spend night, Lennie came home.
