July 13 - Sunday pleasant, but oh so warm. Mer above 90° all P.M. I had slight spell before coming down stairs, so gave up going to church. Passed the day resting & reading, (illegible) up for past week to celebrate the 35th anniversary of my life, tho' don't see where so many years have flown. Ellery attended service in A.M. home most of evening. July 14 Still pleasant and just as warm, all well. Ellery bro't in 4 qts b_ Raspberries in A.M. which we set about picking over.
