Saturday October 25 Still cold & strong S.W. wind making it seem very unpleasant, of course some extra work, helped to take up the time, & I made out to finish up some jobs repairing. Went into see Rose & baby only stopping few minutes "Auntie Milly" being there, Charlotte in last of P.M. & consented to take tea with us, then stopped most of eve with me, Lena out. October 26 Cloudy & windy in A.M. but cleared up in P.M. & growing "loss cold". No service here in W_ in morn except at M_E_ church, Neither of us out. Ellery & I in at "George's" for minutes in P.M. I went with Ellery to C_P_ church in eve to hear an excellent Temperance lecture by Mr. May, Lena out both P.M. (rest of page illegible)
