company yet 10,30 o,c, Saturday November 8 Unpleasant, tho' cic rather want to see rain, which was falling most of the day, with few thunder showers, Mer- not above 50°+. Seems quite lonely without Ellery even at mealtime, Lena still seeming to feel badly over yesterdays trouble, but we had talk in A.M. & hope we can see all in right light & not have misunderstanding to getting I was in at Rose's couple hours in P.M. find she thinks "poor Lena" November 9 Very pleasant again, tho' little cooler, Mer only rising to 45°+. I went in to Maz's I morning, to see Charlotte about going to church, & tho' quite muddy we ventured, she waiting awhile for me to go to her room with her before church time, went to hear Mr Eldridge at B_ church, she coming back to Maz S_'s when came home & came in to sit awhile when Lena was out in P.M. & took tea with us, Lena has her
