Monday November 10 Unpleasant, no rain but foggy in morn- & cloudy all day. Lena & self get along more smoothly, she took a dress of mine (one am going to use for "comforter" cover) over to Rose's to wash, & help Anna awhile, in A.M., at work for herself in P.M. I went with "Charlotte" down town in P.M. also up to her room with her. Lena & I alone in eve till Ch_ came to spent night with me. November 11 Quite unpleasant, rain falling at intervals most of day, not as cold, of course, Charlotte off in A.M. not returning till tea time. I didn't accomplish much, but kept busy, Lena commenced making comforter covering, I ripping couple of my old calico dresses in pieces, Charlotte & I spent eve together pleasantly looking over & she doing puzzles, Postcard from Ellery
