Thursday November 20 Bright & clear, no wind but mer only 7°+ at 7 o,c, & rose only to 18°+. Tho' hardly seeming as cold as the terrible wind made it yesterday, soon as could I took "dress goods" (colored) to Mrs Spaulding, called in to see "Clyde" & in to see Mrs Howe (who is not over effects of cold yet) in A.M. In P.M. Lena & self down town to get goods to make up with old dress, she then pressing the old, I kept busy at little jobs. November 21 Cloudy with little snow in air most of time, not as cold, soon after breakfast (late) Edith W_ with Jessie (Lents?) called to see Ellery about reading. E_ going off to teach again, Charlotte in few minutes of errand also first of P.M. I was in to see Maz S_ & little "Albert", she being better so as to be about little. In eve was in to Rose's, her sister (?) was with her today. Mrs Penfield this eve (rest of page illegible)
