Sunday November 30 Mer- 32°+ today, Cloudy most of day, & quite strong south wind, making it so unpleasant - I didn't go to church, as had hoped to do. Ellery attended in A.M. spent little of P.M. at office, the rest & all eve at home, reading & helping me solve some puzzles. Lena out awhile in P.M. & had company most of eve, girls & one "gent" at least. Monday December 1 Quite mild weather, Mer reaching 48°+ in P.M. & standing 42 at sunset, cloudy most of day. All about as usual with us, Lena finished ironing in A.M. & off down town in P.M. & again in eve. I tried to have faint spell this morning at table but not loseing consciousness. In to see Mrs Howe in A.M. & we were down shopping in P.M. I went to Mrs Spaulding to try on dress in A.M. & to Rose
