Sun. 15. Cloudy to fair & mild. E. wind, Arch morn. Clara in choir. Townend's woods with girls, P.M. - Found Hepatica's first beginning to open
Mon. 16. Rainy morn. Steady rain all day. C in P.M. - Office evg. also. 
Tues. 17. Another steady rain. Temp. about 45'. C. not down office evg also.
Wed. 18. Cloudy, but cleared off. P. M. not so busy. C in P.M. - Home evg.
Thurs. 19. Very fine day. Not so busy. C. in P.M., & 1 out 3 hrs. about home At office evg. - P. Stevens, uncovered grape - vines & asparagus, fixed fence & grubbed
Fri. 20. Fair & warm 75' Set out "Hale Japanese plum," & had severe back ache, & some headache At M. W. A. evg.
Sat. 21. Cloudy, mild, [illegible] morn About yard 2 hrs A.M & 2 1/2 P. M, C in office. Ma Stevens & son grading; & Hersey Pratt put string up add. to wood shead - office a while evg.
