July, 1900 Sun. 15. Hot & showery. At church morn. & evg. - Geo. with his mom only. Eyes aching.-left the most. Mon. 16. Rained in night; & easily all day, about; warm, but cooler evg. N.E. breezes. - Geo. & R. at Mrs. Goodykoowz to dinner & Stillman's to supper, & went out to Sherman's for nights. Tues. 17. Cold a.m. & cloudy p.m. Fair, or clearing. Office as usual, but siphs troublesome. - C. had company evg. for Geo. and Rosanna. Warm evg. Wed. 18. Fine day; fair, S. breeze but moderately cool. Drove to Frankville with Geo. & R., & Clara & Steele with no. - started after nine, went by cemetery, & home at 4. There (at 7.) & his. [on side] Tired eyes. Thurs. 19. Rainy morn & rained all p.m. At office, dull. Mite soc supper.
