December, 1900 Sun. 23. 32° N.W. snowing by spells all day, + getting cold. 19° P.M. Came home from ch. before sermon, with a head-ache; ached all last night. Better evg. & out to church. Blizzardish. Mon. 24. 10° Cloudy, W. - Cold day. - A little more snow. C. in a while P.M. All at church evg. Cantata of Santa Claus. Tues. 25. 8° Cloudy, N.W. gtle. Quite cold. Fair. 4° evg. C.M. Powell Family in to dinner. Office a while, 9 to 12, & 3 to 6. Home evg., reading new books. Wed. 26. 2° Fair, S. Clouded [illegible] [illegible] but dreadfully chill S. winds. Office as usual. Home evg.+ folks all went to mtg. I got in moods. Thurs. 27. 25° cloudy, quiet. N.W. again P.M. + cooler, clearing evg. Busy. C. in P.M. - Down at a Com. mtg. A.O.R.C. evg. 114-6 = 108 Fri. 28. 2° Clear, N.W. Wind variable. Moderating. - Busy. C. in A.M. while I at dentists'. At M.W.A. evg. till 11 o'c. - clerk pro [illegible] Sat. 29. 14° Clear, S. Very busy. C. in P.M. - Office evg till 11 o'c. - abstracting and talk with Mr, [Illegible]
