Keosauqua Iowa Feb 26/58 Mr. J. B. Weaver. You knew as well before you wrote to me as you will after you read this that I would not write for you to come down after me, or that I was particularly anxious to see you. Of course if you were to come I would be glad to see you & if you had come without me knowing any thing about it I might possibly have gone up to B. with you. But for me to write to you to come & that I had any thing particularly to say, you knew I could not, & you had no business to write as you did. Indeed it would be too great a transition for me to stand. I would love to go up to Bloomfield but 0 dear, I can not say that, to get to go, & then, every-
