Keosauqua Iowa April 29/58 Mr Weaver, My own dear friend, if I did not think you looked forward as anxiously as I always do to the day when an answer to your letter would come, I guess I would not write to you to day. Not that I do not love to write to you, but you know I said once a week was often enough to write, & this has very much the appearance of writing twice. Well I suppose you, like all the rest of the "Lords of creation" must have every thing as you want it, & I, like all the rest of the weak, silly ladies, must say "your will is my pleasure" Now I hope you will give me the credit of proving my assertion correct by my writing so soon, & just when you
