a brother." And now, when I "have always found Him a very present help in time of trouble" shall I be so ungrateful as to forget all the past, & now that my life seems to grow brighter, shall I for a moment think that I shall never again need His sustaining grace? No, no, I know that I am all weakness of my self, & that only by His assistance can I fill my position in life with usefulness, & that is my aim. If, when I am called to pass from earth, I can realize, there are some, or only one, whose life is happier & better by my having lived, I shall feel I have not lived in vain.
