influence if any at all, I am so sorry my letter did not go, for no doubt you were thinking all sorts of things, & I had determined never again to hurt your feelings if I could help it. But I am glad it was nothing I had any control over, I did my part & could not help the rest. 
Well one week & our writing is done & we will be together, as one through life, to me there is no thought connected with things earthly which can give half the pleasure to know you will always love me & that I shall reciprocate it to the extent of my capacity. That neither of us will have to walk lifes pathway alone, but together will bravely meet the ills of life, & share its pleasures I should like to have been with you saturday unless you had soared away & left me your kiss I will keep this [time?]. Would you like one in return? Just wait until next tuesday morning. But I must say Good bye, Yours As ever, Clara Vinson
