disappointed. I am so lonesome a letter would have been doubly precious. I do wonder if I could have said any thing to vex you if I have I know it is impossible for us to live happily together for I tried to be careful & if there are always to be musinderstandings it would be better for us to be as far a part as possible. I do not feel as though I have said any thing wrong or that would hurt your feelings I expect to be at home in Keosauqua Monday & I may possibly go tomorrow evening if my friends can take me any better then, & if I get no letter Monday you will be glad when you hear from me again Direct to K. be sure, O you do now know how disappointed I feel, I wish you were here today the
