-2- We march to classe (not over four city blocks) at the end of each hour. The classes run in size from 40 to 350 men. I don't think I even feel as though I were back in college because everything is so very different from college...so much less freedom, so many petty details. I tried to get some Scotch tape for you but now the Houston stores are all out of it. It didn't occur to me to lay in a stock of it at the time or, rather, laying in a stock of anything is impractical in the army - you can't handle the bulk.
