There's very little new. I wished there would be a flight up towards Columbus about the 3rd or 4th. But there's little likelihood. Nor no chance for a furlough before September at the earliest. The most recent order issued in this command forbids officers to have their families with them (officers under rank of Lt.Col.) and they must plan to live on the post. One of the boys in our outfit was planning to get married last weekend. He was so happy that I envied him and wished I were too. He was married at 8 p.m. At 11 p.m. he was ordered to repost to field to fly Sunday morning and when you fly in the morning you have to be in at 11 the night before. He got back Sunday in time to call his wife. This week he
