Hd. Qrs. 2nd Div. 16th A.C. La Grange Tenn. Oct 20 /62 Dear Father yours of the 8th per Wm Hutchinson I recd yesterday also the money, coat, and Boots the Boots were to large I have sold them and want another pair. they were about one size to long, wide, and to high in the instep and a leatle to heavy leather. you can send them and the uniform by express if you have not sent it yet for I think that we will stay here now. I think that I have a permanant Detail in place that I am in now as Acting Ordnance Officer of 2nd Div. 16th Army Corps. I have charge of the extra supply of ammunition of the Division it is more pecuniary responsibility than I had while act Inspector Genl of the Brigade. we have been
