Office Act. Or. Officer Head-Quarters 4th Division, 15th Army Corps. East Point Ga. Sept. 24 /1864. Dear Father, Yours of Sept. 13th was recd in due time. I wrote to you on the 20th and also sent a draft, or allotment ticket, for $400.00. you will perceive by the heading that we are no longer 16th A.C. the part of our old 10th Corps. here has been broken up our Div. has been transferred to the 15th A.C. and our number now is 4th Div. 15th A.C. I dont exactly know what command Gen. Dodge will have it is variously stated as Military Superentendent of Southern R.R. or Mil. Gov. but of course hardly ainy one knows at present nor will they know until the Gen. returns. I am well it has rained for the last 2, or 3, days Yous &c Geo. F. Hall
