From the fabulous land of Mexico. It is a beautiful, enchanting exciting utterly captivating The great boulevards stretch in every direction multiply-laned & bounded on either side by strips of park. All highways are woven (interlaced) with madly moving lanes of traffic bumping elbows - in a dash from green light to red light. The streets, squares, parks are [teeming?] with pushing pedestrians - in what seems a continuously carnival spirited people The new museums of Anthropology & Modern Art are out of this world in the ultra-modern architecture, the exhibits & the way they are pre-sented. I am estatic. The pyramids & the sculpture of the several civilizations dating back several 100 yrs. leave nothing to be desired. We have but a faint realization of the scale & the vitality inherent in the art objects, sculptures & pyramids this civilization produced. There is nothing like it - or its equivalent...in the worlds. I am completely captivated...& I am far from seeing all. Van & I have been exploring for days, & what fun & what satisfaction we are having not only the museums are productive of excitement, but the people as well who are warm & unpredictable. We had a remarkable unique experience in Alameda Park today. We were hunting to find a bench in the shade, when 5 schoolgirls (pretty teens) popped up from nowhere & practically gobbled us up.
