17 Harrisburg, Pa. Wednesday, March 16th 1864. Lieutenant F.R. Warner, of Company G, was appointed acting regimental Quartermaster. Thursday - 17th Commissions were received to day for: John G. Eckel as 2nd Lieutenant of Company C and Thomas F. Foster, as 2nd Lieutenant of Company D. Baltimore, Md. Sunday, March 20th 1864 Broke camp at 7 a.m. and left Harrisburg, Pa., at 12.30 oclock, and arived at Baltimore about six: took supper at the Soldiers Retreat and then were given quarters in the Barricks for the night. Our route from Harrisburg over the Northern Central RR. via York and Hanover Junction.
