Dr. A. Jones was appointed (a.c) Assistant Commissary of the 3rd Division 9th Army Corp 
Our division (3d division, 9th a.c.) was relieved this morning and moved back from the front about half mile - The negro brigade moved to the front. Jas Tobias, of Company E was killed today by a sharpshooter and David Martz wounded (Co F)
