212 the town, on Kulps hill. Dress parade was held this evening in the square, of the town. Four of Company B's men had secured passes and went to one of the churches, of the town, from which they were taken by force, by the Provo Marshall. They claim they were orderly, not having committed any act to warrent such treatment. On the other hand Lieutenant Blanchford, the Provo Marshall says he was ordered by General Geary to remove them because the citizens complained of their disorderly conduct.
