Mrs Babbitt arrived here from Waynesburg a few days ago - She brings no news of any importance. B.K. Higinbotham talks of coming out here in the Spring - Wish he would, and bring his family - Have they any children yet? [Leonar?] Needham is going to be married to a gentleman of this city who has been a widower twice certain, and some people say he is divorced from one wife which makes the third wife - He's a very smart man, and looks some like Andy Pruman - so you may naturally conclude he is not very handsome - I have no doubt but he will make her a very indulgent kind husband. He ought to - for she deserves such an one. I liked her very much - At first, I thought she was the coldest, haughtiest girl I ever knew - but upon longer acquaintance, I liked her very much indeed
