I am sorry that I could not answer your letter sooner, It was good and deserved an earlier answer than this. I wanted to see if I was going get throug with my corn, so that I might give you some idea of when I should make my appearance in your Section of Ills. So Mr. Pattersons folks are going to move into your section or neighborhood, you will find them good nighbors, or at least they used to be considered so in old Pennsylvania. I do not know whether I would recognize them now if I should see them, I think I should.- anything further that I may have to say I hope to say it verbally. I shall look for an answer to this -- when I come over to Ill's you will find my name and love at the top of the 1st page.
