his county - I think I can get along fine for the next seven months if Old Capt Harry dont take a notion to order me back to the company - Capt Fidler says he cant do it if he should try - says he has a right to have a man detailed from the company and he is going to have the one he wants+ Fidler and Horton are not as good friends as they were last Summer - Some of the Co prefered charges against Capt Harry again (Never heard from the charges they sent to Hd Qrs [Reg]) last Thursday and sent them through Capt Fidlers hand to Col Sidell - they came back to Fidler yesterday with orders for him to investigate them - He is charged with taking horses from citizens while out on a Scout after guerrilla and bring them in here and selling them and putting the money in his pocket and he is also charged with sending out men disguised as guerrillas with orders to bring in the best horses they could find - they were to come in, in the night and were to put the horses in an out of the way stable were they wouldent be noticed by every body
