to Lebanon - he said he believed they shot at him every jump his horse made till he got within a mile of town - they took the four they captured two or three miles out from New Market and shot them they were all brought in here last night Five of the seven were shot through the head - they belonged to the 30" Ky Capts Horton and Fidler gathered up about 20 of the company and pressed horses and started after them - Soon after they started 12" of the 30th Ky came in from Springfield - they went on and overtook our fellow, before they got to New Market - they heard that the guerillas had struck across towards the Bradfordsville pike - they followed on and about two miles this side of Bradfordsville they came in sight of them had a big race from there on to Bradfordsville - the guerillas halted just as they got into the town - they fired at each other
