Good night "Mag" Sunday May 7th 1865 Dear Brother "Sam" Some time has elapsed since the reception of your wellcome letter, but will trust your generous spirit for forgiveness for my seeming neglect. You know it was the first Epistle of the kind that I ever received from you. Consequently felt some delicacy in showing much haste is awnsering it.
