rival if not a superior oil region There is a well in sight of my House that struck a fine salt water vein almost strong enough to pickle meat in and evry pospect is good for ile soon and one of wells that I am interested in on the Monongahela river has oil but the debth is not sufficent to insure a paying well it is but 470 ft the Co. expect to go 700 feet if oil in paying quantities are not found sooner. The Company about to be organized under my supervision about 1 1/4 miles from this one and by judges a superior site to the one above mentioned. If you wish a share or two in a well or two & feel willing to risk my judgment I think I can safely say you are certain to double your money, and should they prove as some do you can make several thousand
