Suppose that you feels much older now than you did three months a go, are olde married folks now, we have rooms rented with in 130 yardes of the capitol of these U.S. States, in a vary pleasant locality, street cars with in a fiew steps of the Door, can go up to george town for 6 cents. Lide is rather lonely as I can not be with her much, now as we have to be on duty so much of the time. You will Direct your letter Company F 12th Regt V.R.C Sherburn Barracks Washington D.C. I think that we will get home soon now, hope so any how. You can plant an extry row of potatoes for me, I am comeing out there this [faw] if nothing happens I will bring this letter to a close now hoping to hear from you both soon Lide James me in love to both ever your affectionate Brother and Sister [George] and Lide Wise goodby
