Home, June 6th. 1865 Dear Tillie Your's & Sam's Letter two in one I received last Friday, & should have have been answered Sooner, but "indade & dade" I Just could'nt do it. Saturday week papa George had a letter from John Wise Stating that he & Bro Sol-mn Tombaugh would be at Wenona Tuesday morning on the three Ocl- Train, & if it was convenient, he would like for us, to meet them there & bring them out. Well we finished Cleaning. house Monday. Washed, Scoured - the Tin ware, & baked Bread - light Cakes, (Vertically, from bottom left:-) people in attendance, I clerked for him, "Sol, Mat," Jane his wife & two babies. - Tombaughs" you know? were here all night. I like our fifty second Cousin Jane, real well, Saturday morning papa & I took them to Town, & our new relations went along on their way home. John & Bro Sol Tombaugh were going to Dixon to yearly meeting. I wanted papa & Mother to go too, but they said they were too old to go. alone & so on John said all our Penna friend were well
