the money from him, Fowlers & all our Corn Merchants are about Bankrupt, Oh! had you heard that Will Ream. was shot last week while out Collecting Government tax from disunion Citizens, well tis Even so, but it is not considered dangerous, was shot in the shoulder, he had a Colered Guard with him, they sent for Hat. he was 35 miles from Camp. they made a litter put him on it & four men (at a time) Carried him to Camp & Hat rode his Horse, Mrs Figgins had a letter from her Monday, poor Hat." to day papa went for a Load of Coal & Bell Jessie & I went with him, for Goose berries. only got about a gallon, going to make butter out of them. oh Dear! but I am tired. would'nt have gone, but Bell was so anckious, to see the river woods, Country between here & there, that I went to please her, Wednesday Evening 7th.. all in bed but my name sake & myself, she is writing to her Doctor man, he wants to know if she loves him & she dont know what to tell him, to morrow. we have a mortal big Ironing to do, come & help do it. wont you?
