the skirt & mantle on Mrs Dixons Machine I have made a Garibaldi waist to my Mosimbique & it look's ever so neat, we are not going to wash untill the midle of the week so that every thing will be clean for the fourth. I have Cleaned up the House, milked four Cows, & picked over a half gallon of Rasp Berries. this morning are going to make three pies, & drie the rest, Mother has made a cheese, skimed milk, & so forth. Bell & Mag washed the Dishes made Risen & now Mag Jessie, & Irve are out back of the Orchard picking peas for Dinner, going to have them potatoes, Chicken, Rasperry pie, Tea-Cakes, for Dinner, wish you could both be here, for three or four weeks now, Irve is going to town after Dinner to get a pair of shoes (he cant wear his Boots) & take our letters, have six to send, Curgus Grim is going Home on Leave - about the middle of July & says he will stop with us, as he goes back, if he has time he did talk of coming this way & taking Bell home with him, but I wrote for him to go home first, for we wanted Bell to stay here untill fall, so that she could go to see you, when I go, & I think her mama will be sure to come to see us this fall if she stays untill then, we are not going to hire anny girl. When Mag is confined, Bell said she would rather help do
