Mar. 25 1943 - Burlington - D John - How are you? Sounded good to hear your voice but by time we trip over each other trying to get to phone the precious minutes are flying - Glad you are well and as for busy guess these are no laggards now - The man is coming to fix furnace today *9.30* no one in sight but that was the plan & then we can clean some soot up and will be much better. The girls in Apt. are entertaining their army bro. Has not been home for four yrs & was here to see them last eve - They are very nice - & tend strictly to their own business. Always prompt with rent & no complaint about any thing - Just now Carol & I went up to see him - He has been in Hiawa three yrs. Says all food is condensed and don't taste like home. He has gained seventeen lbs since he came to the states - will be located at Santa Anna Calif - in air field & learning to fly & be a bomadeir Frank left U.S.A Mar - 12 & address - Pv't Frank E.
