A beautiful day for that. They were out most all afternoon. They were very tired tonight. I told them, I wanted them to write you a letter today, but they were just too busy. I just got home from Marie's. We had a very good time. We had chop suey & it was swell, Emma and Whitney Niehaus were there tonight. We played Rummy for a while. Marian said Ed didn't like Los Angeles so he has gone to San Diego to see about a job He didn't take the one he had offered him. Marian is afraid he can't find a place to live there - She has two chances to sell her house. She is tied up with Zart on one deal & she can sell it to some other people herself. She called Max up & asked his opinion about it. They want her to vacate right away & she can't, so Max told her she could get out of it that way he thought. Max asked me your address & I gave it to him. He says they are doing some painting & varnishing upstairs. They haven't & rented it because they couldn't get the oil. They installed a stoker - will get it rented right away. The bank box is due now. I will pay it Tuesday. The banks are closed tomorrow. So is school. I am afraid they will get on grandma's nerves tomorrow. Well honey, don't know any more news, so will bring this to a close as you can see I am about to go to sleep. Goodnight dear Loads of Hugs & Kisses Mommie & Kiddies
