Ruth said, they got all through with the yard except sodding. There were three new working today. The put black dirt all over it, + they seeded it + then rolled it. She said they did a good job. They sowed $15.00 worth of seed. She said they put it in good + thick. I hope we will get a little rain tonight. It would be grand. Looks sort of rainy. Mabel Sanders helped Ruth clean house today, + is coming back tomorrow. She is good help. She does a good job. She says her folks bought the [illegible] + she is going down there next week. The Rodofaughs bought a farm. Do you think you wire have any money to help keep us going, should we come back there in June? It seems like it takes all I can get a hold of to keep it going here + I guess maybe it would be best for us to stay here + maybe you could get a little time [illegible] after you finish + come home. What do you think? Whatever you want us to do is all o.k. by me. You say the word. I would certainly like to, but afraid we can't make it financially- I am surely lonesome to see you honey.
